We are a small privately run company with over 20
years dedicated experience and expertise in gourmet food, fine wine
and bespoke travel. We are well known for our personal touch, attention
to detail and work very closely with our clients in creating unique
events exactly suited to their tastes and individual requirements,
on time and in budget.
Our sister company, Tasting Places, successfully runs
over 30 cooking and wine courses in Italy, Thailand and Greece per
year and was named in the 'World's top ten cookery holidays' by
Conde Nast Traveller in May 2000. Placing Tastes has organised a
dynamic variety of events of all sizes in the last 10 years.
Martin Saxon has over 25 years experience in the restaurant
business and personally knows many well known chefs, food and wine
associated experts who contribute their skills to our events. We
have an extensive database of personal contacts both in the UK and
world-wide and have access to palatial private properties, exclusive
hotels, private wine estates, top importers and specialist food
producers.
The directors are Sarah Robson, Martin Saxon and Sara
Schwartz. Our shared passion is the quest for superb food and wine.
We live and travel in search of the most authentic restaurants,
the finest foods and the wines to go with them, in order to offer
our clients a truly unique experience.
