Mark Hix, executive chef of the Ivy and Le Caprice, is an assured and amiable tutor. In November 2003, he will be holding hands-on classes teaching some of the Ivy’s best known dishes at our new UK location, Fawsley Hall, near Oxford.

David Thompson is the Michelin star chef at Nahm in the Halkin Hotel. Renowned for his fabulous Thai food, he will be sharing some of his truly delicious Thai recipes with us using ingredients especially flown over from Bangkok.

The programme features: morning classes with either Mark Hix or David Thompson, followed by lunch; dinners in the sumptuous setting of the Fawsley Hall dining room; a wine tasting; and afternoon opportunities to indulge at the fabulous Spa.

Fawsley Hall is an historic house set in rolling acres of the Northamptonshire countryside – only an hour and a half from London. The magnificent grounds are a haven for country walks. Alternatively, only a few miles away at Bicester are the factory outlets of many top designer labels, such as Ralph Lauren and Giorgio Armani. Guests will be issued with an exclusive VIP card giving them discounts to many of the outlets.
